September 4, 2016<\/p>\n

Last Thursday, I turned 71. I have been to a lot of places and done a lot of things in those approximately 25,933\u00a0days, so it is pretty hard for me to get excited about anything at this point ……. but, I am very excited about what is going to happen over the next 10 days.<\/p>\n

I am leaving for the airport to fly to Seattle in a few minutes, then its board the Ruby Princess<\/em>, and then Anchor’s Away<\/em>!<\/p>\n

SAME DAY -ADDENDUM<\/p>\n

You know why I know this is going to be a GREAT cruise?<\/p>\n

Here is why:<\/p>\n

Whenever you take a cruise, they always have a meeting right after you are at sea where they give you a briefing on what to do if there is an emergency. Everyone is assigned a “muster” location where you have to report for further instructions.<\/p>\n

Guess what “muster” location I have been assigned?<\/p>\n

THE CASINO!<\/p>\n

That is so cool. I can shoot some craps as the ship sinks slowly into the Pacific Ocean. Talk about “Crapping Out”!<\/p>\n

Eat your heart out Leonardo DiCaprio.<\/p>\n
