I wanted to take a road trip at Christmas so, of course, I Googled “Best Places to Spend Christmas in the U.S.”<\/p>\n
After eliminating all the places where there could be ice and snow (e.g. New York), one of the top places was New Orleans, so that is where I am heading.<\/p>\n
I will leave on Christmas Eve. \u00a0It is only about a 7-8 hour drive from Austin, so I will get there late afternoon. \u00a0I have been to New Orleans a few times, but it has been a while.<\/p>\n
They do have one new thing that was not there the last time I visited – A Casino. \u00a0I will probably spend some time there.<\/p>\n
