2026-27 Shanahan Family NFL Pool Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Entry<\/strong>: If you want to enter the Pool, text \u201cI\u2019m in\u201d to me at (512) 836-9724. If you have no interest and want to be removed from this group, just text me.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Weekly Picks<\/strong>: Each week, submit your NFL team pick to me before<\/u><\/strong> that game starts.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Submission Method<\/strong>: Text your pick each week to me at (512) 836-9724.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Fresh Start<\/strong>: Forget your picks from Buckley Pool if you are in that pool. This pool starts fresh. You can only pick a team once, and ties count as losses. There is no point spread involved<\/strong>.

  5. Entry Fee<\/strong>: The entry fee is $30.00<\/strong>.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Start Date<\/strong>: The pool begins with the NFL games starting in Week #4 of the NFL season. The first game in that week is on Thursday, October 1st<\/sup>.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Missed Picks<\/strong>: If you miss a week, it counts as a loss. This year I will not be sending reminders to people who forget to send a pick. \u201cYou snooze. You lose\u201d.<\/strong> ):<\/strong>

  8. No Loser\u2019s Bracket<\/strong>: Everyone stays in the pool until the end, or until they are mathematically eliminated.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Winning Criteria<\/strong>: The winner is the person with the most correct picks by the end of the regular season. If 2 or more players are tied at that point, they will split the Pool money evenly. This is different from last year, giving more people a chance to win money.<\/strong>

  10. \u00a0Disputes<\/strong>: I will make the final decision on any issues that may come up, unless I am involved in the dispute, in which case I will select someone to decide.

  11. \u00a0Status Report<\/strong>: After the Monday Night game each week, I will post the current standings at:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
